Objectives
This SFI Master Class will highlight the meaning and potential of new technologies like ChatGPT and examine how they are paving the road towards Large Language Models (LLMs). We will reflect on the main architecture of LLMs and elaborate on the form of "intelligence" and on the form of "language" that we face when working with such technologies. Crucial ideas from Machine Learning (ML), the very foundations of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the world of banking and finance, and modern philosophy will be discussed, providing a deeper understanding of the technologies and their applications, in particular in the financial industry.
SFI Master Class Features and Target Audience
SFI Master Classes offer seasoned banking and finance professionals a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and share their professional views with peers, top-level academics, and industry experts in an interactive learning environment.
