Research Statement

My research builds a unified empirical and structural framework for understanding when humans outperform algorithms, when algorithms dominate human judgment, and how these interactions shape market efficiency. I study how information environments influence human–machine forecasting behavior using large-scale global datasets and modern machine-learning methods, combining corporate finance, empirical asset pricing, and computational approaches to identify where human expertise and algorithmic prediction complement or substitute for one another.
