The low interest rate environment and the domestic banking business in Switzerland in the aftermath of the pandemic.
Interest rates remain very low or in negative territory in many countries in Europe and around the world. In the context of the pandemic, this initial situation has taken on a new significance, which is of different importance for the various economic players in the short and long term. The event will feature a presentation of the SFI Public Discussion Note on the topic, authored by SFI Prof. Philippe Bacchetta, and a discussion of the implications of the current situation for domestic banking in Switzerland.
