With immediate effect, Dr. Silvia Helbling assumes the function of Head of Continuing Education and becomes a member of the management board of Swiss Finance Institute (SFI). With her strong experience in banking and finance continuing education and her excellent knowledge of SFI and its faculty, she will play an active role in the strategic realignment of the institute’s global continuing education activities. Silvia Helbling joins SFI from her current position as vice-principal of continuing education at zB. Zentrum Bildung, Wirtschaftsschule KV Baden. Prior to that position, she performed various functions in the development phase of SFI, during which she was responsible for creating highly successful continuing education offerings. Before joining SFI, she gathered varied experience in finance education and in the finance industry. Silvia Helbling holds a first degree in Business Administration with a focus on Banking as well as a teaching degree from the University of Zurich. She obtained a Master’s degree and was awarded her PhD in Finance by the University of York (GB).
