SFI faculty, which is composed of renowned professors from the Universities of Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano and Zurich, as well as ETH Zurich and EPFL, acts in the interest of the Swiss financial sector by contributing to growing the expertise of Switzerland’s financial industry through up-to-date financial research. Now, the University of St.Gallen (HSG), another renowned Swiss teaching and research institution, has joined the SFI faculty. In so doing, HSG ideally complements and completes the existing circle of researchers thanks to its focus on impact-oriented cutting-edge research.
"Our goal is to bring together within our finance faculty the best academic minds teaching and conduct research at Swiss universities. With HSG joining our ranks, we gain additional expertise and skills, which allows us to further strengthen the academic foundations of the Swiss financial center," comments Prof. François Degeorge, Managing Director of the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI), on the new addition. Prof. Thomas Zellweger, Vice-Rector Research & Faculty at the University of St.Gallen, adds: " Financial research is one of the top priorities at HSG, which is why we are very much looking forward to our collaboration with SFI.
