SFI Research Days 2018
In June of each year, SFI organizes its annual research conference bringing together academics and doctoral students from across Switzerland. The SFI Research Days are a unique opportunity for Swiss academics to meet to present and discuss their ongoing research. In parallel sessions, doctoral students present their work in progress and gain valuable feedback from both fellow students and academics. Students are not only encouraged to present their work, but also to act as discussants for other papers. Prizes are awarded for both the Best Paper and the Best Discussant. In addition to the scheduled sessions, individual meetings are organized between doctoral students and senior academics from Swiss and American Universities. The event takes place in the beautiful setting of the Study Center Gerzensee and is sponsored by the Swiss National Bank's Study Center Gerzensee Foundation and SFI.
