Philipp Krüger, SFI@UNIGE, presented his research recently at the Shanghai Green Finance Conference. It is commonly thought that investors following a sustainable investment strategy accept reduced performance. Philipp Krüger’s research shows that this is predominantly not the case : institutional investors with better sustainability footprints exhibit higher risk‐adjusted performance – primarily through a reduction of portfolio risk. Listen to Krüger speak about sustainable finance, the generational aspects and how the financial sector is reacting here.
