Prof. Boris Nikolov, SFI@UNIL, will be presenting his paper Dynamic Financial Constraints:  Which Frictions Matter for Corporate Policies?, co-authored with Lukas Schmid and Roberto Steri, at the American Economic Association (AEA) annual meeting in Chicago this weekend. In their work, the researchers “build, solve, and estimate a range of dynamic models of corporate investment and financing”. The data used in their research “allows them to assess which model performs best at rationalizing observed corporate investment and financing policies across various samples”. For further details download the paper.

The AEA is held each year in the U.S. over a three-day period on general economics topics. It reunites the world’s best minds in economics. Together the researchers discuss and present their recent work, network, and commend new achievements in economic research. The AEA runs the meeting in cooperation with the Allied Social Sciences Associations (ASSA) made up of 56 associations in disciplines related to economics.
