18th Annual Meeting of SFI

Impact Investing
Date16 Nov 2023
Time13:30 - 17:15
LocationLake Side, Zurich

Impact investing supports non-financial goals in addition to financial returns. The SFI Annual Meeting will discuss successes and challenges in this emerging investment space. How does impact investing differ from ESG, and how is it affected by the current controversies surrounding ESG? Can the pursuit of impact be reconciled with fiduciary duty? And does impact investing offer a useful complement to government policies and NGO actions to achieve positive change?

The Annual Meeting of the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) is one of the leading events in the Swiss financial community’s calendar and an exclusive discussion platform. It brings together the finest minds in academia and key financial market players. The widely respected event enables practitioners and academics to exchange the knowledge and expertise that will keep Switzerland at the top in banking and finance.

This year, we are pleased to welcome Sergio P. Ermotti, Group CEO of UBS Group AG, Stuart Kirk, Columnist, Financial Times, and Prof. Andrew W. Lo, Charles E. and Susan T. Harris Professor, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as keynote speakers.
